Oh look! Join us for our monthly free screening of some of our favorite episodes from folksy public television staple Huell Howser, creator of California’s Gold, Visiting, and many other fine programs. Huell had a unique take on journalism and his shows showcased not only our state’s natural beauty, but the people who make it special as well.

This month it’s Mother’s Day and all about Mom, with adventures about flowers, babies, and menudo! The Menudo episode features cameraman Luis Fuerte’s mother sharing a meal with Huell.

The programs will be introduced by California historian Adam Papagan who will provide background on the places Huell visited as well as updates since the episodes aired.
