Stuck on VHS: VANDEMONIUM PLUS (1987) w/ Ann Magnuson in person!

Join us for a very special edition of our STUCK ON VHS series, with Ann Magnuson's VANDEMONIUM PLUS featuring Ann in person!

Frequently throughout the year we will be highlighting a few titles that are considered to be "stuck" on VHS, with no physical releases since the format (discounting VHS transfers on DVDs, etc.) for various reasons, i.e. legal ownership disputes, music licensing issues, or perhaps just perceived lack of interest.

VANDEMONIUM PLUS is a videotape released in 1987 featuring VANDEMONIUM - a half-hour comedy special produced for Cinemax featuring Ann alongside Meat Loaf, Eric Bogosian and Joey Arias bundled with MADE FOR TV, Ann's groudbreaking short film created in collaboration with legendary video artist Tom Rubnitz in 1984.

From the back of the box:

The acclaimed star of "Making Mr. Right" in her own hot, new video!

ANN MAGNUSON stretches her talents to the outer limits. MAGNUSON together with ERIC BOGOSIAN and MEAT LOAF, takes you on a surrealistic journey into absurdity.

She's a biker chick on her way to a wet t-shirt contest. She's Shirley MacLaine in contact with the dead Mr. Ed. She's Polly Anne, originator of "Exorcize" -- the new Christian aerobics!

Then, in the fastest 15 minutes ever filmed, MAGNUSON in collaboration with rock video director TOM RUBNITZ, creates 30 different characters, each a separate slice of modern life. And together an insightful piece of social commentary.

Enter a new dimension of comedy unlike anything you've ever experienced with "Ann Magnuson's Vandemonium Plus".
