SYNOPSIS

Suffer Little Children (1983) was made by the Meg Shanks Drama School in South London, with a cast of intergenerational theater students. Shanks is credited as screenwriter and local talent promoter Alan Briggs as director, but there are indications that Shanks and Briggs were simply conductors of the students’ improvisations, that the film is a semi-coherent assembly of scene studies threaded together by a horror story.
