SOV September brings us SPLATTER: THE ARCHITECTS OF FEAR (1986), a movie about a movie that never happened.

SYNOPSIS

1986 Canadian (fake) documentary about the production company Gory Philms (which didn't exist) making a movie called Amazons (which never happened). This film-within-a-film framework was designed to pitch itself as "educational" and therefore bypass Canadian censors. Less a movie and more of an excuse to show sloppy goopy practical gore fx over and over again from different angles, or rather, maybe what a real movie should be. A majority of the cast of Amazons were working Toronto strippers, with a quite literal take on "I fucked his brains out".
