This brief workshop is designed to ignite (or re-kindle) your obsession with small gauge (8mm and 16mm) film presentation.
Together, we will spend two hours: (1) reviewing basic concepts and techniques that apply to all small gauge film projectors, (2) getting hands-on instruction in threading and projecting film prints, (3) sharing tips on procuring, testing, repairing, and maintaining your own film projector.
Participants can expect to come away more comfortable using small-gauge projectors and better-equipped with the resources needed to begin (or continue) their journey as a film projectionist.
