TAPE Los Angeles is excited to present new films by Los Angeles artist Mike Stoltz - Join us for a FREE screening of a selection of new single-channel film work freshly finished in 2026! This includes Pinktoned, the single-channel version of its expanded cinema companion piece that was on view at the Hammer Museum for Made in LA 2025. All films were shot on 16mm and this screening will include 16mm projection.

‍

Mike Stoltz is a Los Angeles-based moving image artist who makes films, installations, and objects that examine how human beings move through and exist within the constructed landscape. His film experiments and works are microscopic deep dives into buzzing natural phenomena inherent in the creation, projection and viewing of the moving image.
