This brief workshop is designed to ignite (or re-kindle) your obsession with small gauge (8mm and 16mm) film presentation. We will:

‍

- Review basic concepts and techniques that apply to all small gauge film projectors

- Give hands-on instruction in threading and projecting film prints

- Share tips on procuring, testing, repairing, and maintaining your own film projector.

Participants can expect to come away more comfortable using small-gauge projectors and better-equipped with the resources needed to begin (or continue) their journey as a film projectionist.

Street parking only, please do not park in the library parking lot, as your vehicle will get locked in when the library closes.
